In rural Teesdale, in the north of England, lies the home of Neat loudspeakers. Behind these doors, a small but dedicated team works tirelessly to craft what many consider to be the most musical loudspeakers in the world. For over twenty years, Neat loudspeakers have been handcrafted by this team, earning a reputation for offering the very best in high-end audio reproduction, irrespective of size or price.
The new Esoteric N-05XE takes everything that made the hugely successful N-05XD such a compelling all-in-one digital front end and pushes it considerably further. At its heart is Esoteric’s new G2 Master Sound Discrete DAC, incorporating technology developed for the flagship Grandioso N1, alongside the latest G4 network engine. The new streaming platform now includes an optical SFP network connection for greater isolation from network borne noise, while the DAC itself benefits from a new low-noise resistor network and Esoteric’s own discrete clock circuitry for cleaner, more precise digital reproduction.
The improvements extend well beyond the digital section. The superb dual-mono, dual-balanced preamplifier has been further refined with a dedicated power supply for its attenuator, ES-Link Analog input has been added, and the headphone amplifier has been completely redesigned for greater openness and control. There’s also a new front-mounted USB-C input, making it easier to connect smartphones, portable players and USB storage. The result is a more sophisticated evolution of the N-05XD, retaining its remarkable versatility as a streamer, DAC, preamplifier and headphone amplifier, while bringing even more of Esoteric’s flagship technology and musical refinement into a single beautifully engineered component.
The new Esoteric S-05XE Class A Stereo Power Amplifier builds on the highly regarded S-05, retaining its beautifully pure Class A design while introducing a number of significant upgrades derived from Esoteric’s flagship Grandioso amplifiers. Delivering 30 watts per channel into 8 ohms, the S-05XE combines the transparency, texture and natural musicality associated with Class A amplification with the scale, control and dynamic authority that has become an Esoteric hallmark.
At the heart of the XE is a new, larger 1,000VA toroidal power transformer, replacing the 940VA EI-core transformer of the previous model, alongside a redesigned dual-mono power supply for improved channel separation and greater dynamic performance. A new fully symmetrical balanced input buffer further improves signal precision and noise rejection, while Grandioso grade capacitors and Esoteric’s minimal-feedback circuit philosophy remain central to the design. The result is a substantial evolution of the S-05, retaining its effortless character while bringing greater openness, precision and dynamic expression to Esoteric’s 05 Series.

The Audiovector R3 Arreté is a high-performance floorstanding loudspeaker that artfully blends cutting-edge acoustic technologies with timeless craftsmanship. Designed and handcrafted in Denmark, this speaker features bespoke in-house drivers, including the precision-engineered Audiovector Air Motion Transformer (AMT) tweeter. Its cabinet construction employs advanced techniques, such as non-parallel surfaces and nanopore damping material, to minimise resonance and coloration, ensuring a pure and dynamic sound experience. The integration of Audiovector’s Low Compression Concept and Soundstage Enhancement technology delivers a wide, immersive soundstage with a tight and fast bass response that excels across diverse music genres.
One of the standout features of the R3 Arreté is its unique Freedom Grounding system, which addresses distortion caused by electrical currents between the drive units. By grounding these currents through a dedicated external filter, the speakers achieve an exceptionally low noise floor, revealing even the most subtle musical details with breathtaking clarity. Whether it’s the intricate layers of an acoustic track or the powerful dynamics of electronic music, the R3 Arreté captivates listeners with its balance, realism, and ability to energise any space. Available in a range of elegant real-wood veneers and custom finishes, this speaker is as visually impressive as it is sonically sophisticated.
Note: The Arreté variant is compatible with Audiovectors proprietory Freedom Concept Grounding system which is supplied as standard.
The new Shunyata Research Everest-X Shelf brings the extraordinary performance of Shunyata’s flagship power distributor into a completely new, more flexible form factor. Internally identical to the Everest-X tower, the Shelf version delivers the same advanced noise reduction, isolation and unrestricted power delivery, but in a low-profile 18-inch chassis designed to sit neatly within a standard hi-fi rack.
For systems where floor space is limited, or where a cleaner, more integrated installation is preferred, the Everest-X Shelf is an exciting addition. There’s no compromise in performance: Shunyata’s key power conditioning and noise-reduction technologies work together to dramatically lower the noise floor while preserving dynamics, timing and scale, allowing greater clarity, texture and realism to emerge from the system. It is everything that makes the Everest-X Shunyata’s most advanced power distributor to date, now in a format that can become part of the system rather than sitting alongside it.
