At the core of Gaia lies Goldmund’s proprietary active architecture, combining dedicated internal amplification with advanced digital control and rigid cabinet construction. This total system approach allows absolute command over each driver, delivering bass that is fast, textured and authoritative, a midrange that feels holographic and alive, and treble that extends with limitless air and refinement. Precise time alignment and mechanical grounding eliminate distortion and vibration, revealing extraordinary micro detail, spatial realism and transient speed. The Gaia pair consists of five boxes mounted one on top of the other, reaching a height of 2.10m. Each speaker is equipped with eight drivers and eight channels of Telos amplification. Using state-of-the-art technology, one part of the drivers is directed towards the front of the speaker and the other towards the back, resulting in a a natural, powerful and very accurate sound system.
Designed in collaboration with French designer Cécile Barani. Originating from Greek mythology, Gaia represents the Earth, mother of life and divine creatures. Its abrupt, sculpture like shape and curved sides confer a mineral, unchanging and timeless appearance.
