The Kleos Mono is a custom-built cartridge for genuine mono playback of vinyl records. It's ideal for use with high-gain, low-noise phono stages or step-up transformers for cartridges with impedances of 2 to 3 ohms.
Designed to ignore vertical groove noise, the Kleos Mono improves the signal-to-noise ratio without affecting sound quality. It features a square coil plate parallel to the record surface and two separate coils to prevent ground loops and hum. For pure mono playback, you can connect the mono channels in series to boost output, or use it with stereo systems with standard or parallel connections.
